· Failure to wear appropriate safety equipment, including a helmet

· Riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that impairs ability

· Use of non-approved accessories, chargers, or replacement parts

· Removal or modification of the speed limiter or power output settings

Safety Warning

Electric bicycles are vehicles. Riders must:

· Wear a properly fitted bicycle helmet

· Comply with all applicable road traffic laws

· Ensure brakes, lights, and tyres are in good working condition before each ride

· Be at least 14 years of age (legal minimum for e-bike use on UK public roads)

· Not operate the bicycle while distracted (including using a mobile phone)

· Maintain safe stopping distances appropriate to speed and road conditions

Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in serious injury or death. Ride responsibly.

Product Compliance

TXED electric bikes sold in the UK are compliant with the Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) Regulations 1983 (as amended). Key compliance specifications:

· Motor: 250W continuous rated power

· Maximum assisted speed: 15.5 mph (25 km/h)

· Pedal assistance only (no throttle-only operation above 6 km/h on public roads)

· Conforms to applicable EN safety standards

Any modification that alters these specifications may render the bicycle non-compliant with UK law and void your warranty.

CE / UKCA Marking

TXED bikes sold in the UK bear the UKCA (UK Conformity Assessed) marking, indicating compliance with applicable UK product safety regulations. Declaration of Conformity documentation is available upon request.
