Engineering

Great bikes begin with great engineering. Our in-house R&D team of over 30 engineers designs every frame, motor system, and component from the ground up. Nothing is outsourced. Nothing is compromised.

With 80+ patents and multiple international design awards, our engineering DNA runs deep. We do not simply assemble off-the-shelf parts — we design them. From frame geometry and suspension kinematics to battery management systems and motor control algorithms, every detail is the product of rigorous research, simulation, and real-world testing.

Our fully vertical ecosystem means there is no gap between what our engineers envision and what our production lines deliver. A creative insight in the design studio translates directly into a refinement on the factory floor — with no third-party interpretation in between.

All TXED bikes sold in the UK are EAPC-compliant, featuring 250W continuous-rated motors and pedal assistance that cuts off at 15.5 mph (25 km/h), making them fully road-legal with no licence, tax, or insurance required.

Quality Control

Quality is not a final checkpoint at TXED — it is a continuous process that starts with raw material selection and ends only when the bike reaches your hands.

Every TXED bike passes through our 50-point inspection line before leaving the factory. This comprehensive quality protocol covers:

· Frame weld integrity and alignment

· Motor performance and noise testing

· Battery capacity and charge cycle verification

· Brake system calibration and stopping distance tests

· Gear shifting precision across all speeds

· Electrical system diagnostics including display, throttle, and sensors
