The difference is in the details. TXED bikes feature internal cable routing for a clean look and weather protection, hydraulic brakes for consistent stopping power in all conditions, and fat tyres that absorb road vibration while providing grip on gravel and wet surfaces — all things you would normally pay a premium for.
Our 48V electrical system delivers more torque and faster throttle response compared to the 36V systems commonly found on budget e-bikes. This means better hill climbing, smoother acceleration, and more consistent power delivery as your battery drains.
Build Quality
A bike is only as good as the sum of its parts — and the process that puts them together.
Materials That Matter
Every TXED frame is constructed from 6061 aluminium alloy, the same grade used in premium mountain bikes. Hydroforming allows us to shape the tubes for optimal strength-to-weight ratio, eliminating excess material without compromising structural integrity. The result: a frame that is both light enough to manoeuvre and strong enough to carry up to 200 kg (Trail) of rider and cargo.
Manufacturing Precision
Our 250,000 sq. ft. production facility operates under ISO 9001:2015 certification — the international benchmark for quality management. This is not a loose assembly line. Every station follows documented procedures, every measurement is recorded, and every operator is trained to precise standards.
With over 30 years in bicycle manufacturing, we have refined our processes across generations of products. The welding on a TXED frame is performed by robotic arms programmed to deliver consistent, penetration-tested joints. Paint is applied in a controlled-environment booth and baked for durability. Components are torqued to specification, not guesswork.
What This Means for You
· A bike that arrives true and aligned, not requiring a trip to the bike shop for adjustment
· Components that stay tight and perform consistently ride after ride
· A finish that resists chips, fading, and corrosion through British winters
· Confidence that every safety-critical system — brakes, steering, electrical — has been tested before it reaches you
Warranty & Support
Most e-bike brands treat warranty as a legal obligation. We treat it as a promise.

UK-Based Support
Unlike brands that route warranty claims through overseas distributors with weeks-long turnaround, TXED operates a UK warehouse in Birmingham stocked with spare parts, batteries, and replacement components. When you need support, your parts are already in the country — not on a container ship.
Our technical support team responds within one business day. Warranty claims are assessed within 2-3 business days. If your claim is approved, replacement parts ship immediately from our Birmingham facility.
Beyond the Warranty
We stock spare parts for all current and recent models. Need a replacement battery after your warranty expires? A new charger because yours was lost in a move? Brake pads, tyres, or inner tubes? Our support team can supply TXED-specific components, and standard bicycle parts are available from any UK bike shop.
Consumer Rights Protected
Your TXED warranty is in addition to — not instead of — your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You have the right to a full refund within 30 days if your bike is faulty, and the right to repair or replacement for up to 6 years if a fault was present at the time of delivery.
