Both bikes combine a removable battery with Shimano 7-speed gearing. Take the battery indoors for charging with the supplied charger, and change gears as your route changes. Our in-house motor engineering is tuned for torque and efficiency, with 48V assistance on Maverick and 36V on Trail.
A long saddle and fat tyres for mixed-surface rides. Wide tyres help absorb road vibration and provide grip on gravel and wet surfaces.
A mountain-bike layout for commuting and countryside rides, with 27.5-inch wheels and an active riding position.
Trail: maximum rider weight 100 kg; maximum total load 180 kg. Check each model’s size and fit information before choosing.
Equipment across the range includes an adjustable front fork with lockout, internally routed cables, integrated front and rear LED lights, and a full-colour LCD showing speed, range, battery and assistance level. Equipment varies by model; check the individual product page for the fitted specification.
Bikes arrive 85% pre-assembled, with around 30 minutes of final setup. The handlebar is pre-fitted; adjust and secure it yourself, complete the remaining assembly steps and perform the supplied pre-ride checks.
Assembly support
We design and manufacture our bikes, bringing over 30 years of experience to production. Our 250,000 sq. ft. facility operates under ISO 9001:2015 quality-management processes.
Documented procedures, trained operators and recorded measurements guide the work. Frame welding uses robotic equipment for consistent joints; paint is applied in a controlled environment and baked for durability. Components are tightened to specification.
Our 50-point inspection checks alignment, braking, steering and electrical systems before dispatch. Complete the final setup and pre-ride checks when your bike arrives.
Maverick and Trail both use steel frames. Our wider manufacturing capabilities also include hydroforming 6061 aluminium alloy. Component fitting and alignment are checked through production, while the finish is designed to resist chips, fading and corrosion in everyday use.
Regular care keeps the bike working as intended. Our support team can help with replacement batteries, chargers and TXED-specific components, while standard bicycle parts are available through UK bike shops.
Our UK store is operated by BTM INDUSTRIAL LIMITED. Orders and approved replacement components are fulfilled from Birmingham through Top Cloud Logistics Ltd. We stock spare parts for current and recent models.
Our technical support team responds within one business day. Warranty claims are assessed within 2–3 business days; approved replacement parts are dispatched from our Birmingham fulfilment location.
